Superior EN-Approved Firefighting Suit

Superior EN-Approved Firefighting Suit

Description

The Fireman Suit is an essential equipment for firefighters, in addition to SCBA. The fireman suit provides protection to the body from heat, flames, low-voltage electric current, and low-volume chemical splashes, among other hazards. The fire suit enables firefighters to approach and combat fires from close proximity, even in high-rise buildings where temperatures can reach up to 1985ºF (1085ºC), a temperature at which even brass starts to melt. The Resguardo Fireman Suit consists of special fire-resistant pants and a jacket, a helmet with a neck protector, a protective flash hood, gloves, and boots. It provides protection against low-volume chemical splashes, mist, environmental hazards, and cold and cool environments. 1. The fireman’s Pant & Jacket: The jacket is crucial, being the largest and most important item. It includes a wrist guard for protecting exposed skin, a throat and neck-protecting collar, special elbow guards, heat-resistant pants with reinforced knee guards, cargo pockets, suspenders, and stretch waistbands. Both the jacket and pants are EN 1149-3 approved.
2. Helmet with neck protector: The helmet protects the head, neck, and face. It consists of a cap shell, cap hoop, buffer layer, and chin strap. It has an anti-scratch outer coating and an anti-fog visor. It is resistant to fire for long periods of up to 1400?C for 30 minutes. The helmet is EN443 approved.
3. Protective flash hood: The protective hood provides thermal insulation to the sensitive parts of the head. It has an elasticated face opening with comfortable seams. The hood is also flame and abrasion-resistant.
4. Fireman’s Glove:  The fireman’s gloves, in a five-finger style, provide protection to the hands from heat and are also water repellent. The gloves are EN407/EN659/EN420/EN388 approved.
5. Fireman’s Boot: The fireman’s boots protect the feet with thermal resistance, waterproofing, puncture resistance, chemical resistance, anti-crush features, and electrical insulation. They have durable slip-resistant soles with minimal heel impact and a steel midsole for protection against pins and sharp objects.
